Mirror Lake State Park Reviews & Ratings

  • Very nice park! The water in mirror lake is cold!! Perfect for a hot day. Campground is huge! Looks like there is plenty of great views. Kayaks seem to be very popular. Clean plenty of area to spend time hiking to!! All around a great place

  • The lake is gorgeous and all the trails we took were stunning! Being able to rent a kayak and get right out in the water from the park was a huge bonus (as opposed to going there from nearby, like some parks) and we loved being able to see the park and the cliffs from the water! We saw an eagle fly over head, a giant turtle, quite a few ducks, and so many dragonflies!

  • Beautiful state park with many great campsites. The lake is really nice, hiking trails are wide & well kept. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is the proximity to the highway. Unfortunately the constant noise from the road really detracts from the beauty of the place. Without that, I'd give it 5 stars!

  • We went camping over the labor day weekend. The park is very nice, water was clean and trails were well kept up. The bathrooms weren't very clean and they stunk. They need to put lids on all the toilets, especially the pit ones to keep the smell down.

  • Always enjoy camping at this park. The lake is great for canoeing and kayaking. Barely noticed the highway noise - every once in a while I would hear it, but really wasn't intrusive. Most campsites have a good amount of foliage between them so you don't feel like you're on top of your neighbor.
