Wilderness Resort, Baraboo Reviews

  • Such a beautiful fun relaxing place. The water parks inside and out were beautiful and fun. Had something to appeal to all ages. My family had a blast. The staff was kind and we had no issues. The only negative thing we experienced were cars flying through the parking lots. A motorcyclist sped uncomfortably close to us as my friend and I were heading inside with groceries. He wasn't the last either and I know the resort can't control people's speed. So i say this to say be careful extra careful in the lots and especially watch out for your kids because most drivers did not adhere to the speed limit. Other than that I HIGHLY recommend this place. A week seems ideal if u want enough time to see everything. We were only there for 4 days and I still feel like we missed out on a lot. There just weren't enough hours in the day.

  • I rented the 3 bedroom suite and was very pleased. This place is far better than Great Wolf Lodge. There's something to do for everyone. It's a large complex with many water parks throughout. It can be a bit of a walk but the shuttle's worked out great for us (when needed). Food and drinks are pricey but if you plan it well (bring grab and go breakfast items and sandwiches for lunch) you can make it affordable. I suggest going out of the complex for dinner. We found some good places nearby. The grandchildren LOVED this place!!!

  • The best resort at the Dell's. There are several outdoor and indoor watermarks to chose from on site. So if one is crowded just move to the next one. The rooms were very clean and perfect for the whole family. There is a lot of walking to and from all the parks which is a downside but it worth the walk. The indoor playground is great for kids and the arcade is addicting. This resort is great year round with all the activity you can do.

  • Amazing resort. Definitely one of the best if not the best place to stay in Wisconsin Dells. Fun pass is totally worth it, but still an awesome resort even without it. Only complaint is that 99% of the staff don't speak or understand English very well. However, if you can follow directions and read the information provided you shouldn't have too much of a problem.

  • We’ve stayed here several times, all previous times we stayed at the Glacier Canyon Lodge and LOVED it. This time it was a short trip so we stayed in the normal hotel room on site...MISTAKE! Room was an absolute mess, dried frosting on the sink basin, pizza on the balcony, and crumbs/frosting on the carpet. Needless to say I was not happy about the amount of money spent to stay two nights in a dirty room. Other than the room, the water park resort was amazing, as it always has been! The slides are awesome, pools are fun, and the lazy rivers are terrific. Of course poolside loungers are scarce, but we visited in the peak of summer so that was to be expected. Lifeguards were friendly and attentive. The on-site arcades are fun to spend some time (and money) with the kiddos.
