There are several triumphal arches situated all over the world but the Arc de Triomf is certainly one of the most beautiful of them all. Built on the occasion of the Universal Exhibition which was hosted by Barcelona in 1888, this arc definitely deserves a regard by all tourists to Barcelona.

The reddish brick construction of the art surely sets it apart. And the beautiful white sculptures and carvings make it a real sight to be beheld. Moreover, the intricate art also holds tremendous symbolic value. Discovering this symbolism is certainly an experience worth having.

  • I really enjoy this place to chill with my friends. There is often people doing street art which is very nice to watch. Mind your stuff, though: pickpockets around!

  • Beautiful. A must visit monument. And the park is absolutely magnificent. There is a lake with boat rentals. There is also a big fountain. Absolutely amazing.

  • I like this place, here you can find a lot of cafes, bars, restaurants for any budget, that are located in the ancient part of the city, you just need to turn into the nearest street from the Arc de Triomf. Many people say that this arch is not large, in contrast to the triumphal arch that is in Paris, and it is also impossible to climb the top of the building. But this is not true. I managed to climb to the top of the building along a narrow spiral staircase with a large number of small steps. At the top of the arch offers a breathtaking view. If you do not believe, you can see some photo of 360 degrees of the top of the triumphal arch in my profile or here.

  • Pretty nice place to visit, one of the tourist spot that you can visit in Barcelona. It has a nice park as well also really close to the metro station. The park is quite empty when i visited, perhaps because it is not peak season for holiday

  • It's a very nice place to know. Fortunately I could go upstairs. The view is amazing and nearby there are a lot of nice restaurants
