Arenas De Barcelona used to be a set of old Bull-fighting rinks in Barcelona but was abandoned and is no longer used for this purpose. It has been converted into a huge shopping area with several commercial established being housed in this vast area.
The place is perfect for shopping with your family and friends as well as catching a movie at the multiplexes but the real thing of beauty is the building itself. This circular building that once housed the Spanish bull-fighters still retains that rustic charm while the ultra-modern interiors make it a bit of a paradox to look at.

Quite a large structure from the outside. It has a cool lift you can take from outside that takes you to the roof and you can see great views of Barcelona. There is a theatre and plenty of restaurants and shops inside. Also a lot of empty space. I expected a but more from such a large building but it's still a very nice mall.
If only all former bullrings could be converted so successfully. Well thought out commercial centre with many good shops, cafes, a multi-screen cinema. With spectacular views from the external lift and outer walkway, the top floor has restaurants and a central, covered, exhibition hall. The fun part for kids, of all ages, is the central space on the ground floor, with interactive projected light show.
Very nice mall inside a converted bullfighting arena. Quite cool. Great view from the top as well. However, you don’t need to use the outside elevator (which costs €1) to access it - just use the free escalators inside.
Impressed with how the former bull fighting arena has been turned into a modern mall. Food court on lower floor is particularly interesting. Good to visit before watching water fountain show.
Great place to walk to and site see. This place use to be a bull arena that was converted to a shopping mall. It has fine dining at the top as well with some great views. At the night they light up the facade of the building to make it super colorful.
