Barcelona Egyptian Museum, Barcelona Reviews
Relatively small but with interesting pieces of ancient Egyptian history. It is privately owned but run by very friendly specialists that make your visit an amusement. They even do special classes and courses (for children too!), but all by previous reservation.
Amazing because it's an Egyptian museum, full of coffins. But what happened to the Caffe? The Caffe was unmanned a good spot for a picnic. The museum was not full of tourists like the rest of Barcelona. The toilet was clean.
There is a off road parking. This place is wheelchair addressable. 3 floors of interesting Egyptian stuff. Friendly staff. Toilets available. Nice place to visit.
Personally, I loved this museum. Its exhibition comes from a private collection, and it's definitely not a huge museum, but what they have, how they exhibit it and how they explain the history (I did the tour with a guide) is really well done! I really liked it, and my partner who is crazy about Egyptian history found it really cool too. The only con would be that they only have tours in Catalan and Spanish. Other than that, I really really recommend it.
Very cool, clean museum with fascinating egyptian artifacts. I give 3 stars because it lacks the energy, depth and vibrancy of other museums. I still recommend this place highly if you love ancient history and in Barcelona.
