  • This is an outstanding science centre and conference venue. I attended and participated in a Global University Network for Innovation there and as a venue it worked brilliantly. The food at lunchtime - mainly snacks, as one international colleague called it - was unusual and delicious. As a science centre this is a wonderful facility with hundreds of young people working through it. Brilliant exhibits and simulations. Don't miss the statues of Einstein, Marie Curie and Darwin!!

  • CosmoCaixa is a scientific place, where all the families can go there to watch, interact, and learn with a big number of curious things. There, you can learn a lot of things. In addition there’s staff that can explain to you things that you don’t understand, like a personal teacher. There’s a lot of variety of inventions, scientific theory, history, phenomena, a warm jungle biome with a lot of species, various aquarium with fish, etc. There are plenty of other things to watch. You will not be bored at any time. Also, you can buy a lot of souvenirs at the main shop before and after entering the place. The whole building has a modern structure. In the same way that the building is very clean, also has an amazing staff. It’s very easy to reach CosmoCaixa. You can get the public transport, like bus or metro. Nevertheless, the prices of the entry tickets are more than slightly elevated compared to the time you are inside. However it is worth going there.

  • Nice place for kids. Lots of activities. Kids loved the robots exhibition. Much less crowded than the aquarium although the flooded forest part is quite similar to the Very good buffet lunch for a very reasonable price - don't miss it. Also the area is beautiful, it is worth to take at least a short walk after.

  • A wonderful blending of historic places and the newest architecture and technology. I specially enjoyed sharing this learning space with young people and children, while I was also in a professional learning situation. That reminded me we are in a trip of curiosity and learning, always, everywhere. This is a place where lifelong learning happens :)

  • It's a must! Great science museum, very interesting! Absolutely loved the huge terrarium/ tropical ecosystem in the middle. Exhibitions are amazing- perfect size and just enough text to store all the information about everything. Would go again if I ever return in Barcelona.
