An exceptionally great piece of art is this cat by Fernando Botero. The cat has a chubby baby face and is massive, size wise. Most people visiting the attraction get onto the cat’s back for pictures. Kids especially love this sculpture. If you’ve had or still have a cat as a pet, you’d relate to the sculpture as well. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes around the sculpture area.

  • Fun park to walk around have a beer, wine or what you desire. The cat is a great statue that attracts alot of people to the park. The area around the park has many bars, restaurant and coffee shops. At night the park is frequent by homeless people, don't get afraid if you notice anyone sleeping in the bushes that are frequent around the park. They are not as lucky as we are.

  • Just a statue, but a special one from Botero. His art portrays big people (and animals?). This ca is quite big and I've seen kids climb it, but do not recommend doing so. There was also some graffiti on it, which is a huge shame. I wish people didnt destroy public spaces like that here in Spain

  • Its really cool to come near this giant cat and take a picture... At least for me as i like cats and help when ever i can... Also i have some at home, so i think it was great and cool thing to see and visit while in Barcelona...

  • Nice, little sculpture in a off the path area. Perfect for a little photo opportunity.

  • Beautiful statue from Colombian artist Botero. Will soon be moved to another location.
