  • Best way to get to Wanda. Make sure to purchase your return ticket BEFORE the match. Otherwise you’ll be in a long line after.

  • The subway is the best way to get to the stadium: fast, easy to use, hard to make mistakes. Even after a packed Champions League match the metro staff moved people (myself included) through to our destination. I’ve had harder exits from stadiums in cities that I’m familiar with! The game was a great experience, and the metro (in general and this big, efficient stop) didn’t detract from it. No hassle and it was a fast return to the center of the city after the game.

  • Clean and big metro station. Before and after the match the place is full of people.

  • Madrid Metro is very easy to use and to navigate, and is priced well (1.50£ trip or 10 trip pass around 12€)
