La Confiteria, Barcelona Reviews - Write a Review
My friends and I accidentally stumbled across this bar in our attempts at checking out the bar next door that a friend recommended. Turns out it was closed for the evening, so we ended up at seated at the bar at La Confiteria and it was the best thing that could've happened to us on our trip. The bartenders were so warming and could whip up a mean cocktail. Maria Jovanna (I hope that's how you spell her name) is absolutely amazing! We watched as she prepared each drink with such precision and did not hesitate to let us know what her next concoction was as we starred in awe at the science behind her art. Being our last night in Barcelona, I could not think of a better way to have ended our vacation than sharing delicious drinks with my friends at this lovely bar.
Very beautiful place for drinks. No music though just people shouting.
Quiet, peaceful cocktail bar unchanged since 1920, with beautiful Art Nouveau decor, jazz or cuban music, and great cocktails with a good selection of amaros. This should be my local, to relax and unwind, or end the day. Great staff, quiet but attentive.
Very charming, old coctail bar with a terrace (opened till midnight) with one of the best coctails we've ever had. Service is little bit tricky (depends how busy they are) but otherwise we loved it. PS: Have La Paloma!
I like this place for its style, it a cozy and welcoming place, vermut is a must there!
