The word Catedral translates itself as “the seat” and this is what this cathedral represents- the seat of dioceses’ Bishop. It is from this cathedral that he preaches the Christian doctrine to the followers. Built over a period of 150 years in three stages starting from 1298, this cathedral was built on the site of a Romanesque temple. What makes this cathedral an attraction is that it captures the city’s history, and the religious art in best way possible.
