An ordinary cemetery is where there the souls of the departed rest in peace, but the Poblenou Cemetery is where the souls rest in an artistic background. Yes! The Poblenou Cemetery is where you realize even cemeteries can be artistic. The artistic graveyard is a small museum of funerary art where you’d be amused with the expressive sculptures and design. The highlight of this cemetery is the sculpture of ‘the kiss of death’ which belongs to the year 1930.

  • It's beautiful and well maintained. Once a year they do a night time visit with a local guide who explain you everything and gives you a tour. You have a screen by the entrance where you can find every single grave. The best cemetery I ever visited. Good location, close to the underground.

  • Very interesting cemetery, the oldest in town
