Splashdown Waterpark, Bardez Reviews
Nice place to visit Costumes are provided with cheap price. The staff is friendly and the ticket prices are also less. It is couple friendly. Playing in the waters gives a lot of tan to your skin so be aware. Rest all is worth visiting. Better to take your costume and towel. A proper changing room is provided there at the venue. The washrooms are clean. It has a nice restaurant there at the top which gives a hearty meal whenever you feel hungry after swimming....
Me and my wife visited in the off-peak season. The park seemed short staffed, with attendants having to alternate between manning multiple slides. There was a portion of the park under maintenance, probably in preparation of the peak Q4 season. However, there was no sign indicating that the slides were unusable. We almost decided to use one before realising on closer inspection that its lower section was missing ! We would have slid into the exposed supporting structures. Ah what else? The shower rooms smelt funny. Not sure about the water itself, which was slightly turbid. Overall, 2/5. Could be, should be so much better
Coming from Sweden, I find this a great place to be at. It is definitely well worth the money and one can easily spend a whole day relaxing. I have been visiting this place ever year since my kids were 7 years. Today they are 14 years old and we still go there with the same enthusiasm. Extremely friendly personnel who are also very attentive to safety. Where parents of small kids are concerned, this is a safe place for their kids and you can leave them to play around whilst relaxing yourself (should you not want to participate in activities). Staff are strict with people misbehaving, which is why sometimes people try and hit back with bad reviews. The slides are very well maintained, water quality good and so are the premises. There is constantly personnel attending to the lawns, cleaning pools, etc. Lockers are available and CCTVs monitor this area. Toilets are clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend this park and would say it is a must visit.
Visited for breakfast there. From outer it seems it a good place. From inside food was costly. Not quite good. Quantity is also less. Specially cold coffee taste was worst. Paneer paratha was made from 'maida'. Manchurian was not worth eating. Cost of such worst breakfast for 5 people was around 1200rupees. Water sports we didn't try but I don't think it is worth trying. Few sports were there only.
For village like Goa, maybe its more than enough. Very small. Better go to the beach and try water sport. Also not sure about cleaning.
