Jirrahlinga Koala & Wildlife sanctuary is a refuge for distressed animals as well as people with a special need. It is situated on the northern edge of Barwon Heads with an area of 5acres. You can come here to visit these distressed, old creatures and even touch and fondle them. Your silent gestures mean a lot to these injured animals and what better treatment can be fruitful to those old people suffering from disability than paying a visit to them and mingle with them. The supportive environment and the staff that works effortlessly to keep these animals and people happy will simply inspire you to devote yourself to philanthropic work. This is a rehab center where derailed people get a new boost to move on in their life, people with learning difficulties can respond with physical gestures and dementia patients start to respond.
