The Cathedral Munster - Review
The Basel Cathedral is a popular tourist attraction. Standing tall overlooking the Rhine, it doesn’t take much to deduce the importance of this red sandstone walled twin towered Cathedral. Rebuilt after an earthquake, the restored Munster followed the architectural guidelines of Gothic and Romanesque architecture. The interiors are richly embellished, depicting prophets and virgins. The Cathedral’s pulpit is said to have been carved from one block of stone. Climb the towers to enjoy some excellent views of the city.

The Cathedral Munster, Basel Reviews
Magnificent view. Nice architecture of a Protestant cathedral. Walls are full of people names worked for Basel. Also there is a tent of open air cinema for summer in the front yard of the cathedral
Nice old architecture cathedral. When I visited it was closed for entry due to some work/maintenance. One of the recommended places to visit in Basel. Surrounding is good.
A place with an amazing view over Basel! You can only enter it in a group of at least two people, but not alone. There is a small entrance fee, but it's worth it.
Free entrance. Beautiful architecture. Overall space outside is clean and magnificent.
Lovely historical cathedral. Would recommend a visit there to anyone who goes to Basel
