After a trip to the Roman Bath Museum, many a traveller has succumbed to a desire to be pampered like the ancients were. The waters are at a comfortable 48 degrees Celsius, but you can have so much more than a thermal bath. The spa’s many packages let you choose the manner of relaxation and the views from the roof top pool are unbeatable… especially on a clear night.
Try the aromatic steamrooms, the massages, the hot stones, the rainforest shower, or even the specialised pregnancy package for expecting mums. It’s heaven.
- You’ll have to rent bathrobes and towels if you haven’t brought your own.

The spa was great - I'd recommend it to anyone (even in December). Lovely environment and rooftop pool has impressive views. No pics allowed for obvious reasons so none to post here. It's pricey but well worth it for a special occasion. Bath is a lovely city... even better by train :)
Amazing place the spa provides you with robe, flip flops and towel on arrival. There is a lovely cafe, a ground floor pool and an open pool outside that are both heated. There is a floor for sauna and steam rooms of various scents and a floor for separate treatments such as bamboo massage which is a much have. The staff are friendly and there are plenty of water fountains to keep you hydrated.
Bloody beautiful! Won't let you down - if you're a fan of history, I would advise to go to the Roman Baths first; either earlier on in the day (we did that) or the day before. The weather wasn't hot, but it was maybe too warm to get the full effect so Spring, Autumn and Winter would probably be nicer with the contrast. Equally, you might prefer to go before sunset so that you get to watch it from the Rooftop pool and leave when it's dark - very romantic!
Was a great day. Slippers, towels and bathrobe provided but the slippers and bathroom will get really wet through out the day and might even exchange with some people as you have to hang it up to go into the Sauna and steam rooms. We took the Couples package that included a couple's massage - this was great and really relaxing! A 2-course meal was also provided that was delicious! Definitely recommend but took a star off as it was a little over-crowded in the rooftop bath and the steam rooms. Loved the Ice room!
Really lovely spa and good facilities. Rooftop thermal pool was beautiful. Most importantly the facilities were clean. Slippers, robe and towel all included in the price which was a nice touch considering the price. I would recommend choosing the time you go wisely as it was quite busy even on a Monday afternoon.
