The habitat is located inside the premises of the famous Louisiana State University and dedicated to University’s mascot- a live tiger named Mike the Tiger. It was established in the year 2005 on a lush landscape of about 15,000 sq. ft. The area incorporates a spread of the greenery merged with a large Oak tree, a beautiful waterfall and a warm flowing stream resulting in a stunning backdrop for visitors. Come to watch mike swimming and having a good time in his natural habitat. The Italianate tower nestled in the habitat is one of the major highlights that one must not miss. Lovers of architecture, nature and wildlife can explore and learn a lot in this place.
