Pete Maravich is a popular assembly center, also known as the ‘Deaf Dome’. Established in 1971, the building was named after the late basketball player- ‘Pistol Pete’ who was known for having numerous accolades to his name. The place is actually a multi-purpose arena and has a lot to offer in term of adventure and engagement. There are a sports section, a concert facility and an auditorium with a seating of 14,000 spectators. Numerous games and events are held here every year. The slightly oval-shaped building is divided into four parts- Maravich Pass, The Walk of Champions, Heroes Hall and Midway of memories, all of which are worth exploring. Pete Maravich Assembly Center Reviews & Ratings
There aren't many bad seats in this arena. The arena is average in many ways for a major university. It seats somewhere around 12,000 people and offers a great variety of food items at the concession stands on the concourse. The staff, people who work there, are friendly and helpful. I have enjoyed watching concerts, sports, and academic events at the PMAC.
This is where i drops my son off for work,LSU have the best tailgates.
I haven't been there since I was about 15 years old so to go back a couple of weeks ago was the bringer of a thousand memories... My little cousin's graduation from High School was there and it was perfect because when it is at larger places such as this you don't have a limit on how many people you can invite. The 4 stars is because the seats are the worst, I was so ready to leave this place. You have to be like super skinny to be comfortable in these seats, they are so tight. I will not be going to a game any time soon. And no I am not overweight and just hating on the seats because I cannot fit, Im medium build and weight and these seats would be uncomfortable for even people that are a healthy weight. So now that we've cleared that up, GUEAX TIGERS
Got the opportunity as a State Representative to play Basketball against the Senate members. Loved it!
Easy access but seating is not designed for comfort. Need more leg room.
