Established in 1998, the Batumi Archeological Museum is home to Batumi’s 28,508 objects of the city’s past. A striking blend of objects from the Bronze Age to Ajaristskali Gorge’s Medieval times, specimens that were found during archaeological excavations at Ajara and nearby villages of Batumi including - Pichvnari, Namchaduri, Khikhadziri, Kvashta to the more recent onescarried out as a joint venture during the Georgian-British expeditions, along with specimensthat were revealed impromptu.

Thus, throughout the museum you will sight a lot of bronze vessels, coins, glassware and ceramic items that are a genesis of the Georgian and foreign derivation.  A great for art and history lovers!
