Overview of Mtirala National Park
Spread over an expanse of 38,790 acres, in the lovely region of Adjara, Georgia, is Mtirala National Park. Formerly known as “Tsiskara Reserve”, the park is a heavenly wilderness. The location of the park is unique and exceptional, as it is alluringly set between the Black Sea and the Adjara Mountains. The flora of the park is dynamic. This mixed forest includes plants and trees like Sweet Chestnut, Oriental Beech, Cherry Laurel and a variety of Lianas. You can often spot Brown Bears, Roe Deer, Wild Boars enjoying amidst nature, and if you turn your eyes up, you may even see an Eagle owl, Booted eagle or a Golden oriole soaring in the sky. The park is one of the wettest areas of the region, and the most humid one too. And so, amphibians too have made this park their home. Caucasian salamander, Caucasian toad, Caucasian viper and Eurasian mash frog are some of the species.

Mtirala National Park Reviews & Ratings
Amazing natural park. Nature here is do spectacular and different from the other parts of the country. I lived the hut on the mountain trail. Amazing location place to spend several days, just relaxing in the nature.
Outstanding nature, waterfalls, clean air, hiking paradise & cozy family run restaurant with delicious local food & wines
Batumi Botanical Garden: wonderful botanical parc!
It was a fascinating place, truly! I think kids shouldn't go there as the way to the waterfall is dangerous IMHO. The lake is a really cool place and I have swam there and it was amazing. The water is very cold but you can still swim there.
Such a beautiful place
