Estadio Alfredo De Castilho is a historically significant stadium in Brazil. It was commonly known as Alfredão, and was inaugurated by a game between FC Norusca and Campinas in 1935. In 1958, the stadium suffered severe damage and a new one had to be built. This new arena was made in 1960. The specialty of this field is that it has the best water absorption systems in the whole country. This makes the grounds fit to play on, on the wettest day, in spite of the rains.
