Riverside Gardens, Bayswater Reviews
Bayswater is a diverse and friendly, community. The coffee van there, (seasonal mostly Sundays) is run by a lovely team - they offer a free recyclable cup to use and bring back!!! Regulars come to Riverside Gardens, enjoying the large green areas to walk pets and socialize. The younger children in this place enjoy the bike paths for cycling and there is also a fenced off play area for little ones. FYI. Toilets are available and there is a doggy drinking fountain, as well.
I really enjoy Riverside gardens. The best place for a picnic, huge play ground, on the Swan river. We always take our 2 dogs for it is a huge dog park, however my only gripe is with lazy dog on not collecting their dog poo!!!!!! It puts a real downer on the entire park. Yes a pet is only as good as its owner!
Fantastic off leash dog area with dog beach / sandy entrance to the water. Bbq public BBQs plenty of picnic tables. Lots of parking. Fantastic enclosed kids play area too. Next to a bird reservation water area (dogs on leash here) also good to walk around.
Nice big open area by the river. Great place to have a BBQ or bring the dog down for a run after work. The boat ramp is really good, plenty of room to launch/retrieve at least two boats at once and a good sized jetty to tie up against. It's also got large enough car parks perfect for learning to ride a motorcycle in a quiet area.
Lovely and favourite park. I love to go there because I feel peace and relax and I can walk around with my dog, make picnic or just walk.
