  • OK this is a good place not far off the main road to walk around for 15 minutes. I enjoyed it because I got there early morning before other tourists started showing up. It is next to Rhyolite a mining ghost town that attracts most visitors. It's free so stop and enjoy some art.

  • Little museum at Rhyolite. Interesting, knowledgeable gentleman that was willing to tell all kinds of stories. He also makes incredible Indian Wood flutes. Reasonably priced. Take a few minutes and stop in to say hello.

  • Definitely worth the stop into Death Valley. Cool art installations and a neat little walk down memory lane

  • It's free so it's hard to beat that, the art is interesting and worth a look if you're in the area. I wouldn't recommend a special trip just for this, but if you're heading to Death Valley or driving through Beatty it's not that far out of the way.

  • Just West of the sleepy town of Beatty NV. An excellent outdoor museum featuring actual structures of the heyday of Rhyolite a gold producing boom town in Nye county. Adjacent to Rhyolite is the open air Gold well museum with plenty of art and sculptures that are of interest to people of all ages. Within walking distance is Tom Kelly's bottle house mainly constructed with Anheiser-Busch beer bottles from long ago. The place is fun , interesting and free admission.
