About Sandy Lake Park, Bedford

A beautiful park with a vast expanse of land densely covered with trees and beautiful trails which will take you deep into the woods to give you a glimpse of nature. What makes this park attractive is the beach area for children where clearly demarcated sand play area, picnic benches, and green patches sum up to a productive afternoon. You can go on a hike in this park as well since it is quiet and calm with not many people around. It would be great if you bring your dog along too for there is an off-leash area on the premises as well. It is a package for your entire family!

  • Great place to go geocaching, take the dog to the off leash area. Had a good hike with the kids. Not to busy either.

  • Very good location, well looked after and lots of off leash areas for pets.

  • Discovered this great little park yesterday with trails through the woods and a small sandy beach. Had a great hike and found a few geocaches, fun for the whole family! We'll definitely be back 😀

  • Great off leash park. Main trails are off leash October to June. Woods trails are off leash year round.

  • Nice quiet lake. Not much sand for laying out, but nice place, very clean water
