  • Eva, our guide from China Highlights, used the Temple of Heaven as a mini-guide to Chinese feng shui and symbolism, pointing out all of the little details on the Temple and its surrounding buildings. It's a beautiful place, and full of fascinating history. There are English placards around that give some insight as to each building's purpose. There isn't much in the way of shade in the actual temple, though, so wear sunscreen and bring plenty of water.
