Xinjiang Crescent Moon Restaurant has the look and feel of a traditional Muslim mansion. It is administered by a Hui national which explains how the authenticity of the ambience and the taste is maintained. You might find the place a little overpriced, but only until you chew the first morsel of the barbequed foreleg of lamb, or the lamb skewers, or samsa, or the noodles; then you would know that every bite you grabbed was value for money. You can’t visit the restaurant just once; no wonder it being voted as the “Outstanding Xinjiang” by “The Beijinger 2010 Reader Restaurant Award”.
