A must-see in Belfast! Especially for literary fans of C.S. Lewis but also for anyone interested in taking in the city's culture and scenery through walking tours. The welcome centre will make you feel very welcome with their friendly staff and strong cups of coffee. I highly recommend this attraction.
We thought the site itself was great. The kids loved the statutes...appreciate its still work in progress with the regeneration in the area. But very nice. The statues are excellent - world class. Would be nice to see more green - the rain and the volume of shoes on the grass areas is definately taking its toll. Well worth a stop - especially if a fan, or have recently seen a movie or read one of the books. There is also a lovely cafe, over a few floors. Great views from the upper floors. Some snacks along with the usual tea and coffee. The staff seemed very busy in preparing for the day..there were leaflets available about CS Lewis square, but not overflowing with information when asking.
Free WiFi, lots of places to sit and enjoy the weather or walk around and look at the Narnia statues. Great at any time of the day but especially late night/early morning.
A treasure of the east. From skateboarding bulldogs, to the occasional homegrown gig, to the ever present Aslan, with his ever present lion peniard, CS Lewis Square has it all.
