The Ginger Bistro - Review
The relaxing ambience of the Ginger Bistro is complimented by its awesome interior decors with local artwork offering modern Anglo-European fare and the special pre-theatre menu. Opened back in 2000, the restaurant offers quality food in a relaxed and friendly environment. The bistro has a capacity of 70 seats and the efficient team puts the best effort to make your experience worthwhile. With this, it has been able to build up a significant customer base. Tomato Soup, Ginger’s Fried Squid, Ham Hock Terrine, and Oriental Duck are the best starter option that will trigger your excitement to move on to the next courses. Fabulous puddings after the main course (with Chicken breast, Hake Fillet, Braised Pork and so on) will leave you contemplating the taste for long.

The Ginger Bistro, Belfast Reviews
Arrived without a booking, but Matt who I presume is the manager said he would do his best to get us a table within 25 mins. This he did and we were not disappointed. Great food and a very friendly service by the waiting on staff. Will go back there again and again.
From the cocktails to apperetifs and starters to desserts, this place was fantastic. The entree was the best lamb I've had on my trip. The staff and service were incredible. This is a very impressive restaurant
Visited this restaurant with my boyfriend last Saturday evening. Staff was friendly, attentive and the service was great. I got the Roast Fillet of Hake with Leeks, Celeriac, Horseradish and Crayfish Casserole, which was very tasty. My boyfriend got the 10 Oz Co Antrim Sirloin with Roast Tomato & Peppercorn Cream and Fat Chips also super tasty. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because we were seated at a high table since they were the only tables available, which personally I find slightly uncomfortable. Definitely worth a visit!
My wife and I came to Belfast for our anniversary and while looking for somewhere to eat we came across this place. Walking in it looks so small, we were met with a welcoming reception and was more than happy to find us a table, even though we had no booking. We sat and looked through the menu, it all sounded good, I ordered the French Onion soup and homemade bread to start and then chicken, mushroom puree and pine nuts with cottage pie, sounds like a strange combination but look at the picture. All went down great, especially with the cocktails we ordered, espresso martini and a "Jawbreaker" gin. We would totally recommend this place to eat, and eat well.
Our first visit, but it won't be our last. Very welcoming staff, excellent choice to select from, well presented and fantastic flavour! I have never had nicer smoked fish. Counting the days until our return. A gem!
