Gokak Falls are the famous falls in Belgaum, India. The Ghataprabha River roars as it crashes down the height of 52 meters. The waterfall is known to be an exceptional horse-shoe shaped fall, which is a very auspicious symbol. The sandstone cliff, the reddish water gushing, and the flourishing valley make for a spectacular picture. As you near the cascade, its dull thunder will announce its presence. This majestic water body also marks the territory of an ancient era, the Chalukya era. The banks are strewn with monuments displaying the architecture from the lost time.
