Part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, the St John’s Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine was established in 1877. The church building made of Chaska White Brick catches one’s attention while entering the site. Moreover, the stunning stained-glass window and the wrap around wooden balcony also add to the charm of St John’s Lutheran Church. The church family and the congregation gather at the balcony to worship and praise the Lord. The large Gathering area of the church is where the visitors and the church community turn up for the Sunday Morning coffee after the prayer service, special classes, mass meals and church events. The ministry teams include the Evangelism, Small Group, Children, Women, Stewardship, Faith Formation, Worship, and Music.
