Lory State Park, Bellvue Reviews
Was hoping to take my daughter on a beginner bike trail however the one described as Easy is still a bit technical. I think it might be "easy" for those already experienced in mountain biking. Aside from that, the whole area is beautiful, the trails are clean, the picnic sites are clean the restrooms are well maintained! It's easy to see why this is a favorite spot for many local outdoor enthusiast's!
Great park! The ticket for one day is a modest $7 and there are quite a few lots to park at to either go for a hike or ride down one of the many trails, or it's a short walk to Horsetooth Reservoir. There is not shade on every trail so make sure you scout out a trail to take beforehand or read up on the terrain online.
Loty state park has many nice trails. There are trails for biking, horse riding and for hiking only. Arthur's rock trail is only for hiking which makes it very enjoyable and relaxing. The trail is kept up very well and the views of Fort Collins and Loveland are spectacular. The park is close enough to Fort Collins for a quick hike or a picnic.
Great large open spaces for hiking, biking, running, scenic views, lake access, horseback riding, ect. Arthur ' Rock hike is a 5.6 mile round trip hike totally amazing views definitely one of my favorites in the area.
This park was amazing! The trails were very well marked and maintained. Some of the more difficult trails were sparsely traveled while the easier trails had significantly more traffic. There was ample parking and group picnic areas. You do have to pay an entrance fee of around $3 per person, but it is well worth it!
