Hal Aerospace Museum Trips
Wow, quite a treat those who love to see fly. And their descriptions and the features of every model has been written down was really helpful. Enjoyable for kids also for the adults as this will be the visual treat and more informative. The history is defined and the smaller models are so cute to carry home (though you can't). The original models are very massive and awesome to stand near! Recommended
Great to explore how Indian Avionics and Aerospace technology has evolved over the years. And of course the rich history of HAL(Hindustan Aeronautics Limited) followed by their active contributions in Indian Air Force and space program is quite impressive and interesting to explore. Aircraft technology is always fascinating, and this museum brings you that opportunity to closely watch and explore mighty Helicopters, Jets, light aircraft, Fighter planes, Bombers, Choppers and much more. Not just that, there is a separate hall that showcases some interesting and real models of aero engines. Another round shaped hall displays the evolution of aviation industry in the form of photos and charts. There is also flight simulation arena, which is good to experience flying. The entire campus of the museum is maintained well with good degree of cleanliness. There is a small snacks and tea center inside the campus with open air seating. The entry fees to museum is nominal and they do charge extra for photography.
A fantastic place to experience the rich history of Indian Air Force and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited. Wonderful opportunity for kids to explore the Jets and helicopters up close. There is also a souvenir shop and a simulator arena to experience flying. A must go if you are in Bangalore. The place is easily accessible and has a limited car parking. More parking space is available a little ahead of the center. The entry fee is nominal and overall the place is very well maintained.
Amazing place to visit with friends, family and kids.. you can revisit history of HAL and rewind their journey in beautiful collection of their picture walls. It was very nice to see many picture portraits of their journey for every decades. You can also see many historic Indian fighter planes, choppers, radars in their landmark. Flight simulation experience was also nice. The gardens inside and children play area was well maintained and clean. You can relax with your family and friends.
An excellent place to spend a good 2 hours in the evening. Although the authorities should be stricter. Families allow their children to climb the planes and run around. This would deteriorate the condition of the planes. Otherwise the displays are excellent. I liked the Lightweight Combat Helicopter very much. Then there's the Navy Helicopter too. The planes are also magnificent. Overall the display gives us a glimpse of the History of Indian Aviation, especially the contribution of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited. The ticket costs Rupees 50 per head. You would also have to pay extra for carrying mobile phones or cameras inside. One thing I didn't like is the unavailability of a proper parking area. So you would have to park outside. Overall it was a very pleasant experience here. I definitely recommend a visit.
