The Terra Natura consist of two parks- the zoo themed park and the Aqua Natura (aqua park). The parks are home to some of the most varied species found around Spain. You can find over 200 species of animals here including elephants, tigers, African buffalos, monkeys and rhinos. There are around 200 animals that can call the sprawling 320,000 square meter park, their home!

The Aqua park on the other hand, is a 400,000 square meter facility with thrilling rides and a regular live sea-lion show. In spite of its spacious grounds, the zoo manages to offer interactive encounters with these majestic creatures. You get to learn about the habitat and habit of every species and see just how beautifully they are cared for in their natural surroundings. Highlights include seeing the Tigers, Panther, Cheetah and Elephants!

The place also has its own aviary section that is home to over 45 species of birds along with a Toco toucan (this species was once considered to be endangered and is now surviving on the line since its hunting is still prevalent in large numbers). The aviary is also home to Ibises, Storks, Paují, Chajá and Peacocks. If you love animals, the zoo makes for a great way to spend a day with children. Ending the visit at the water park, is perfect to cool off after a long day!

  • Family enjoyed Terra Natura was a good outing for the younger kids. I feel the signs or posting of directions within the park could be more visible and clearer. Aqua Natura was great. Both facilities were clean and well maintained. Staff were kind and friendly.

  • Visited late October, do near season end. Very quiet and some areas appeared closed. However, the birds of prey show was excellent. A good 4 hours spent wandering around.

  • It was a good place but if you have a heart for animals I wouldn’t recommend it the enclosures were way too small for the animals ! There were four fully grow jaguars in a tiny cage trying to get out and pacing up and down . Everyone with me wanted them to be free. And they weren’t the only animals that had enclosures too small also the lions had a cage that was far too tiny and you could see the way they looked at you that they were depressed. If you don’t know, when animals such as lions, Jaguars and so on, pace up and down and jump on the fences they are depressed and seriously board !!😡 Well I wouldn’t advise to take a trip there as it is so cruel 😥and they don’t maintain their enclosures .

  • Brilliant day out especially for the under 5's park is a little disjointed but overall a really good day. We chose the combined ticket for €43 that gave access to the zoo the water park and a full 3 course meal lunch - well worth the money. We spent well over 8 hours in the park so I would advise that you get tickets to the aqua park for the following day. Live displays were brilliant, they get the kids involved , my two year old especially loved it. Good play grounds for the children, large well kept enclosures for the animals, staff were very friendly.

  • A great variety of animals and a clear understanding of the animals by the keepers. You can interact with a lot of the animals and the best part was the snakes and spiders in the volcano. Great morning out.
