  • There is a wide variety of seafood and fish to choose from, and an expansive space to explore some of Bergen's finest local fare. The selection is fresh, and prepared on-the-spot if you're looking to grab something to eat. Definitely worth checking this place out if you're a tourist - it's a local landmark, and there are many options for group dining as well.

  • Delicious fresh fish and many different options to choose from. You can choose what fish to have from the display. Great location overlooking the water. Well worth it. I recommend the fish soup! Not too expensive for what you get

  • Can be expensive! But don't get me wrong it's super fresh and good quality. I don't recommend to try the whale here, everytime I have ordered it it has been extremely dry ! RUINS the whole meat, it does do justice on who amazing whale meat can be. Good service:) and good ambience

  • The seafood market for tourists(quote from a local). This place looks bright and tidy. All the products were nicely organized and displayed. Service was excellent where the waiters would explain everything patiently and you could almost try everything you see in the market before you make your decision. However, when it comes to food quality, it was a big disappointment. The whale steak/fish fillet/luxury seafood plate were mediocre. However, given such high price for the quality, The crab was not even fresh!!! I’d say our meal was very filling(thanks to the amount of potatoes) but overall poorly served. The only exception was the mussels which was very delicious. PS. Blue lobster costs 1400NOK per KG. Wanted to try but was scared off by its price.

  • Delicious whale steak and mussels in cream sauce. Ate here after our fjord tour and wasnt disappointed. Also got 10% off with the bergen card.
