The Bell Tower of Berlin Olympic Stadium is actually an observation tower made of steel skeleton and limestone coatings. Standing 77.17 metres tall, the tower boasts of its 9.60-ton Bell that was cracked after the explosion in 1947 and now acts as a memorial. The Bell Tower Of Berlin Olympic Stadium now consists of the 4.50 ton Olympic Bell with the Branmdenburg Gate and German Federal Eagle. From the observation deck, you will be able to watch the panoramic vista of Berlin, Potsdam, Havel Valley, Henningsdorf, Nauen and Spandau and of course, the Olympic Stadium. The glass covered elevator will show you the slideshow on the history of the tower. The exhibit space on the ground floor will also give you an insight into the history of the place and the 1936 Olympics.
