Great Japanese-Zen ambience - typical upmarket teppanyaki - food was good but not memorable. Cost of dinner is towards higher end but fair value. The short grain Japanese rice was on the wet side.
This restaurant specialists in Tappenyaki. All Japanese staff. The real thing. The ladies were traditional kimonos. Nice.
Wonderful service, beautiful setting, very good food. Five stars!
Live cooking, great service.
This was the worst Japanese hibachi meal I have ever had, and I have had many. If I could rate zero stars I would. We had 2 different multi-course meals. The tuna sashimi had so much ginger and soy that you could not taste the fish. 2 different chefs(if they could even be called that) cooked the appetizers and main course, both were over salted, over sauced and the meat was way over cooked. They took great care in plating, if only they put that much care into the cooking. Neither myself or my wife could eat any vegetables on either the appetizer or main course due to how salty they were, and neither of us could eat more than half of our main course meat. I guess I should know better than to eat Japanese in Berlin, but it was recommended by the staff at the Waldorf which does have excellent food. I don't understand all of the good reviews, either they are fake, or these people have not ever been fortunate to eat good (or even decent) Japanese food. 0/10 and you could not pay me to eat there again.
