The Olympia Stadium in Berlin is a historical and cultural Landmark of utmost importance. Although Olympics have been held here only in 1936, sports today in Berlin could not be imagined without the mention of it. This stadium is easily one of the most striking stadiums in the world. The architecture is truly remarkable. We should not forget legacy left by the prestigious games that have been played here as it is one of the biggest hubs for international games currently.

It was built for the 1936 Olympic Games. It is home to the Hertha Berlin Football club and has seen quite a few important matches from the football world-cup. • I didn't really watch a game in this stadium but I ran few races that end inside the stadium. And it really feels great to run inside on the blue tracks. The descent to the stadium makes you run faster and the drums are really motivating. If you're up for a challenge go for B2Run Berlin 5.8k race or any of Big25 races!

  • Probably one of my favourite historic sites in Berlin and I'm glad it's been redeveloped and still being used. It's nice that they have lots of information placards here too and don't shy away from the history of the structure. For football stadium fans.. I think this one of the most over aweing football stadiums you can visit. The place is gigantic and the 30s architecture is bigger and better and grander than you ever imagine from any pictures you see. Buy a match ticket and go for a wander an hour or so before the game.

  • Amazing huge 5 Star rated Fifa stadium! Such an impressive sight with so much history. The stadium is well worth the visit!

  • Immense stadium with a historic past. By today's modern stadium standards it's not huge, but it has a stark grandeur and presence that stadiums today do not have. Very stately with large approach from the train with clean lines and design. It has withstood the test of time and is still relevant and used today.

  • We loved our visit here. Wow what a stadium it's so big and well presented. And the history of this stadium is a draw omits own. Well worth a visit.
