The Olympia Stadium in Berlin is a historical and cultural Landmark of utmost importance. Although Olympics have been held here only in 1936, sports today in Berlin could not be imagined without the mention of it. This stadium is easily one of the most striking stadiums in the world. The architecture is truly remarkable. We should not forget legacy left by the prestigious games that have been played here as it is one of the biggest hubs for international games currently.
It was built for the 1936 Olympic Games. It is home to the Hertha Berlin Football club and has seen quite a few important matches from the football world-cup. Do not forger to see the bell tower with a giant bell on its side. Even though it was damaged in World War II it has been returned to its former glory and is a real site to witness.

Immense stadium with a historic past. By today's modern stadium standards it's not huge, but it has a stark grandeur and presence that stadiums today do not have. Very stately with large approach from the train with clean lines and design. It has withstood the test of time and is still relevant and used today.
It was nice to see many fireworks in Berlin Olympiastadion🔥 .Nice experience. It also included fireworks 🔥 from different countries from Europe with the colours of each country flags. The program last for 2 days from 12 - 13 October 2018. The fireworks 🔥 is a competition at which different countries try to win the jury's and audiences. It have entry fees but you can also see fireworks 🔥 from outside. It was also full of security men so be rest assured for perfect protection.
What a great stadium. Plenty of space. Great setting and seating. There are loads of vendors of food and drink. The toilets are numerous and spotless. The ISTAF meet we attended was a fantastic experience with a mix of children at the start and the professional athletes at the end.
Very impressive place to visit with lots of history. The highlights tour was good with an excellent tour guide. It was very good value and only got that one as the more in depth tour was fully booked. Tours are conducted separately in English and also German. Once the tour has finished the grounds can be walked freely and there is also a restaurant that serves food and drink however I did not use these facilities.
Great stadium which has been updated in a fantastic way. Unfortunately the running track and the angle of the stands makes it everything but intimate and the sound from the fans dies out.
