About Pantry, Berlin

A pantry is a room where beverages, food, and sometimes dishes, household cleaning chemicals, linens, or provisions are stored. Food and beverage pantries serve in an ancillary capacity to the kitchen. The word "pantry" derive from the same source as the Old French term paneterie; that is from pain, the French form of the Latin panis for bread.

  • Meat lovers will have a great time here. Had the crayfish soup to start which was more of a curried soup and excellent. All the food was great. The cash only thing took us by surprise as new to Berlin, especially as this isn't a cheap place, but that's on us. Worth a visit.

  • For a fancy date night out, this is definitely a good choice. Food is great and the ambiance is lovely. Nice staff, quick service. Prices are more upscale. Will be going there again for sure.

  • Really good fusion food - the whole sea bass was particularly good. We really enjoyed it. The seats inside can get noisy when the restaurant is full though, so if you want to be able to have a conversation you might want to ask for a table near the doors /windows

  • Very hip and cool Restaurant/Bar in Berlin Mitte. The stuff is great and the atmosphere very cool and posh. It can get a bit noisy and you can only pay cash. BUT it's worth the food - try the flat iron beef! They also serve really good cocktails.

  • Cool place! Great atmosphere, creative drinks, fantastic food, and friendly service! What more can you wish for? We had lots of great food in Berlin, and this may have been the best meal of all. Highly recommend it!
