We had an absolutely lovely stay at this hotel . A truly first class hotel with impeccable service and attentive staff. The rooms are spacious and clean. I would have given 5 stars but I find bed to be uncomfortable.... otherwise hotel is well located and beautiful with big fish tank in lobby and the breakfast buffet was incredible with wide variety of food....
really lovely hotel and quite the special place due to the amazing 1.000.000 litre 16.000.000$ aquarium in the lobby. We had a room on the outside with a view on the dome which is really nice but next time i would request aquarium side. I expected to like it when booking but I was truly amazed everytime i got to see it. The rest of the hotel is also good. great breakfast, nice rooms with really good insulation (closing the balcony door shut out all city sounds and hotel sounds are also almost non existing). only thing that was not 100% were the beds, i slept well but they moved too easily on the carpet and a bit small 2x single beds. all in all would sure recommend it and would come again.
I made a visit to Berlin specifically to stay in this hotel and I was not disappointed. The entire lobby from top to bottom is a marine aquarium. It is so big it has an elevator in the middle. We asked for a inward facing room and we looked out from our balcony for hours and hours. The rooms were clean and modern and the staff were all very professional. We didn't eat in the restaurant as there were many bakerys and restaurants close by to try. The swimming pool was also very nice with a high powered pump so you could swim against it.
This was a lovely hotel, great rooms, at a premium price, don't be cheap if you want to stay here. Staff are questionable on their levels of service, I suppose it depends on their mood. Some go above and beyond and others were very rude!!! My booking included breakfast, but I was still advised to sign for breakfast @ 25euro each, because their paperwork was not up to date, lady you have one job to do! Really upset my travel companion too when we checked in, as lady could not guarantee an early check in before 3pm. Yet we checked in at 1pm, big lack of advice, support and customer service, especially being my first stop on my 3 week Europe trip and right after a 36 hour journey here! Nope, staff don't give a toss about what you have been through and I picked this hotel out of many, I'm a bit disappointed on lack of customer service, I could honestly go on and on about the poor levels! Radisson Blu, you need to put some staff back into training and get them to pick up their game, because its letting your brand down/
Had the pleasure of staying here for two nights for the Christmas Markets and some sightseeing. Nice location, dead opposite one of the main markets, loved walking down the main street past the old glorious Eastern European architecture up to the Brandenberg gate and beyond, such history. Hotel is ultra modern with a stunning aquarium inside the foyer, a lovely visit, just wish we could have stayed a day or two longer.
