Emma Treadwell Thacher Nature Center located in Voorheesville, USA is a park that has been serving the people since 2001. Since its establishment, it has grown and become very popular. The main crowd puller of this park would have to be the exhibits and the activities offered here. The geological model of the Helderberg Escarpment is very interesting, and the live honeybee observation hive, the fossils and fur, the bird viewing area and the hands-on collections are very exciting for children and adults alike. This is quite unique, and such activities aren’t offered everywhere. Hiking and skiing trails are also available, leading to the Thompson lake from the nature centre. The surrounding fields are delightful. Offering various programs for students, the park is quite popular amongst that age group. While planning your trip here, take into consideration all the above attractions and the travel time too! Make a day out of this humble place, and enjoy it with your family and friends.

Emma Treadwell Thacher Nature Center Reviews & Ratings
A well maintained, low key education center with resources for all. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. There is a small shop with a good selection of local resources, books and souvenirs. They do a variety of community outreach activities including nature talks and bird watching, arts activities for kids, and art shows where community as artists can exhibit. They do a lot with relatively few resources, and are worth your visit and support.
