Built in circa 1835, the Harper's Mansion is furnished perfectly in a period style and boasts of its Colonial Georgian styled architecture. Sprawling over two acres of landscaped garden space, the mansion overlooks the village and the garden jewels such as the rose beds, orchard, hazelnut grove, herb garden and the woodlands through which small trails meander. The maze in the garden is a beautiful feature you will find at Harper's Mansion. The Heritage Roses will never cease to mesmerize you. The interior of the house gives an insight into the lifestyle of the proud Australian family of James Harper while the influence of the Catholic Church is depicted at the chapel located upstairs. You can buy some souvenirs from the National Trust Shop in the mansion.

Harper's Mansion Reviews & Ratings
Interesting place, some ok history and an unusual story. The maze is pretty fun and the gardens are pretty cool. There is an entry cost to help with upkeep of the property, this was a little steep. If you've got time, it's an interesting stop.
Great place to take the kids for a look at how they used to live. And the maze is really good
Lovely property to visit and friendly volunteers guides. The house is lovely to look through and the maze, gardens and orchard are all delightful to walk around. Highly recommended.
A lovely little place to visit. The maze is a must try!
