The Knowles Mills is a preserved derelict mill on the Dowles Brook in the Wyre Forest. Dating back from the 18th century the mill includes the frame of an overshot waterwheel. The Knowles Mill is a part of the National Trust which is a charity that relies on income from donations and membership fees. They look after the coastline, forests, woods, fens, beaches, farmland, moorland, islands, archaeological remains, nature reserves, villages, historic houses, gardens, mills and pubs.
