  • Heaven for nature lovers. Best time of the year to visit: early February. Recommended itinerary: stay in Bharatpur a night before. Reach the sanctuary before the sunrise and spend the day there. It’s recommended to rent a bicycle or hire a rickshaw. Pro tip: try not spending a lot of time in the first 500-800 metres dry area. You’ll see a lot more birds as the wetland begins on the sides.

  • I really appreciate this place for it being full of natural beauty be it the rare birds the butterflies the trees the water bodies. It's absolutely beautiful and serene. I saw the the Indian sparrow and other birds that I have childhood memories of but alas! we don't see them anymore these days because of the constant urbanization and lack of preservation.

  • Love this place.. nature was plenty. Birds were beautiful and habituated. People were also helpful. The registered rickshaw pullers were experts in 🐦 watching and also lively..

  • This is one of the best sanctuary to visit for bird watching. During the winter season Dec to Feb the migratory birds come over here for nesting. Thus you can get a very good view of them. You can walk inside the sanctuary or take a pedal rikshawala as a guided tour.

  • This place meet all your expectations as you think of to visit a bird century. You will find a large number of birds over here having their natural activities. There are many types of wild animals. It is very pleasant to watch them doing their things. Thank you for reading this review.
