Ekamra Kanan Botanical Gardens - Review
It is one of the popular parks for both locals and tourists. The entire park is divided into different sections. One part has a lovely flower garden with a children playground within it. Another portion has dense forest. However, you cannot go too far if you walk into the forest, because the forest is surrounded with electric fence. The third portion of the garden has the old day’s rose garden that houses a cactus garden. According to the source, this cactus garden is said to be the largest one in India. That’s why, Ekamra Kanan is also known as Cactus garden.

Ekamra Kanan Botanical Gardens, Bhubaneshwar Reviews
Doesn't matter with whom you are going there. Be it with your kids, friends, family or with your better half or alone you will definitely have a good time there. There are separate blocks (kind of). There is a children park, a cactus house, a small lake. If going with your family and kids you can avoid the north part of the park. Best thing about this place is CCTV cameras are there at main points, good toilets, lots of chairs are available. However the maintenance in North section of the park is not up to the mark.
Quite big botanical garden in the heart of Bhubaneswar city and well maintained with large numbers of flower, medicinal and decorative plants and trees. A beautiful lake is inside the park having boating facilities. Fine walking tracks and roads inside the wild nature and bamboo bushes giving the impression of a jungle path. People throng here for morning and evening walks. Ticket is charged from visitors. It is a feast to the eyes.
Yes this is one of the best park in bhubaneswar where you can get to know about various kind of plants and flowers. Well decorated place with large area. Seasonal boating is also available here. There are some parts of the park where you can't take your kids. Apart from that it is a good place to hangout.
It's not expensive to go in, much espace to walk. Enjoy boating or lay down on the grass. Many couples chating under tress, children playing on the toys. Go and see. Calm place to go.its one of the largest park in the Asia.its famous as love point .The place is very good to hang around with your friends..there's a lake where you can go for boating..and the cool breeze is so refreshing.evening would be the ideal time to visit.
Nice place. Please be there once to get rid of the concrete jungle. The smell of soil, blended with flowery fragrance, unexpected boating experience too, blended together are sure to take out the real human out of you. Overally an enjoyable experience.
