Lingaraja Temple, Bhubaneshwar Reviews

  • A beautiful Hindu temple with historical architecture. Lord Shiva is worshipped here. Various small shrines are located inside with various other deities. A important landmark of Bhubaneswar with a lot of tourists visit the place daily. The surrounding of the temple is not clean and not well maintained.

  • I had recently been there, Very big temple like a huge mountain and many small temples are there to increase the curiosity to see them all at any cost.. Very peaceful and devotional atmosphere... Mobiles and photography like activities prohibited inside...

  • This place is really amazing. It’s around 20 mins drive from railway station. There are so many small yet beautiful temples around the main temple. I was really impressed by the architecture of the temples. It’s unlike any other temples in India. We visited this place after sunset due to time constraint, but I suggest you to visit the temple in the day time to fully enjoy the beauty of the temples. Mobiles and cameras are not allowed inside the temple premises. You can deposit them in the cloak room before entering the temple and collect them later. Don’t miss visiting this gem of a place while you are in Bhubaneswar.

  • The main temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Other than there 10s of small temples are there. Beware of pandas of there. The best thing you can go there and enter without prasadam. Mobiles and camera needs to submit at shoe counter using tokens.

  • Just one word "Unity in Diversity". There is all god and goddess small temple in our Religion... Main temple is nice and build with ancient architecture. It is four side and all side same architecture. Mobile, Camera, Leather, and Shoes not allowed...
