Sand Dunes State Forest, Big Lake Reviews

Google+
  • Beautiful landscape. Lots of Oak trees. A wonderful recreational forest that belongs to Minnesotans. Unfortunately, it is not uncommon to come across a lot of dumped trash because people are irresponsible and dump anything from microwaves to mattresses off the dirt roads there.

  • Lots of very nice horse trails but the parking lots are poorly marked.

  • This small State Forest Campground is a great place to visit all year around ! Many miles of hiking thru forest and rolling hills.

  • Lots of good marked trails. I went there mushroom hunting. Good parking

  • It's a really great area if you enjoy watching for wildlife and skiing and also snow mobiling
