Henry Miller Memorial Library Reviews & Ratings
Very unique and stimulating atmosphere to find new reads and relax with donation based coffee and tea available
This is the best bookstore I've ever been to. The books selection they have is so impressive. I've never found so many gems. I found books that I've always wanted to read but never found in local bookstores. But this place is so much more than a bookstore. Ping pong. Music. Events. Coffee. To put it bluntly, you HAVE to come here. Guaranteed to be a good time.
I absolutely love unique bookstores - and this one did not disappoint. It had some of the coolest books and also free coffee and tea. It is small but in such a beautiful little building and nestled in the forest. I really enjoyed looking at all of the unique books. Check out the bathroom for some cool old typewriters!
This place has the best vibe and the best book store with the classics. The large open deck and grass is great for just relaxing and reading. There are two resident cats that are friendly and like little bits of meat from your sandwich. There is no food so bring your own. They usually have coffee and tea and only ask for a donation. There is a bathroom inside the book store.
A quiet bookshop with a serene garden for reading and meditation. It is a great escape from the weekend (summer) buzz of Big Sur visitors. Free /Donation tea and coffee.
