Visit one of the popular southern most hiking trails of Big Sur offering a majestic view of the westward of the coast! This is how Salmon Creek Falls trail is usually defined by most of the tourists. The happiest part of this trail is you can hike as long as you wish to and can return back. However, walking towards the southern part of the trail, you can see a fork where the trail heads up to the hill. If you take the left fork, the trail will take you down to the spot where the beautiful Salmon Creek Falls formed small pools. Don’t miss to take a snap keeping the falls as a perfect backdrop for the picture. From this point you can return back to your starting point. Else after returning back to the main trail, you can move ahead and enjoy the panoramic view of the Highway 1.

However, be careful while hiking as certain spots of the trail crosses through rocky hillside.
