  • Very beautiful and ornate temple which is as old as 550years. It is said that a huge amount of ghee was used in constructing the temple which adds to the strength of the walls and structure. This is shwetambar Jain temple. Can visit in morning or in evenings after 4pm. Visit the temple and get spellbound by the decor and aura of this place.

  • Impeccable art inside the temple..must visit place. This is a 400 year old Jain temple just located besides Lakshmi Nathji Temple. Legend has is it that the material for building this temple is included 500 tonnes of Desi Ghee for the foundation. This temple in the blazing heat of May and June throws an aroma of Pure Ghee. you can literally smell it inside the temple. The sculptures inside the temple can give you goosebumps. There is absolutely no mercy given in detailing. you can count the details and yet the details will count your imagination less brain.

  • It's very old Jain temple and grt example of architect in ancient times. I think Jain is very popular for his temple. This temple is most visited palace in Bikaner for tourist. This temple is show the great architect skill of old time. Jains are always know for his culture and temple.

  • This profusely decorated temple dedicated to Sumatinath, the fifth Jain tirthankara, was commissioned in 1468 by the wealthy lain merchant Bhanda Shah, who did not live to see it completed in 1514. It is popularly believed that 40,000 kilograms of ghee was used in its construction instead of mortar. Supposedly, as a result this ghee seeps through the temple walls & floors on typically hot summer days of Rajasthan desert! Bhandasar Jain Temple, Bikaner, Rajasthan, 15th-16th Century.
