Inyo National Forest is a national forest in USA. Including parts of the Sierra Nevada and the White Mountains, the entire protected region is more than 1.5 million acres. The forest was established in 1907, but additions have been made to it over the years. The forest consists of nine wilderness areas which are abundant with flora and fauna. With Lodgepole Pine and Jeffrey Pine trees dominating the area, the forest also houses some of the oldest non-clonal living trees, like one that is 4,839 years old. With an expanse so vast, there are bound to be all types of terrains. Lakes, craters, passes and mountains enjoy being a part of this incredible park.
