Grotte De Choranche - Review
Grotte de Choranche is a cave which is as beautiful as you must have read in some fancy books or fairy tales. Make sure that you take a guided tour so that you can enjoy the time you spend here. The incredibly beautiful landscape is sure to take your breath away. There is a sound and light show which is run inside and you got to watch this to understand why this place is considered to be unique and beautiful. It is a treasure which should be explored well.

Grotte De Choranche, Choranche Reviews
Well worth a visit. Very much enjoyed. You do need to take something warm as the tour takes an hour and its 10c degrees. Make sure you have a camara. Very informative and nice helpful staff.
Following a beautiful scenic drive we arrived at the grotto, there is ample parking, a cafe and toilets at the centre, the staff speak English & you can pay with card. The tour is in French but you are given a pamphlet at the gate which gives a lot of detail for each stop so you don't miss out. Even without the pamphlet the caves are stunning and a must see, our pictures can't do them justice. The tour is approximately 1 hour and we stopped for a cold beer afterwards to enjoy the beautiful views. It's 10 degrees in the cave all year, take a jacket!!
Genuinely stunning caves. The long thin stalactites are amazing and the long views to them over rock worn lakes and stalagmites are beautiful. Yes the tour is mostly in French but the caves speak for themselves.
These caves are a great experience for all the family. Really beautiful inside. It is only 10 degrees inside so remember a hoody!
Beautiful cave, with impressive dripstones and meters long calcium carbonate stalactites. The guide is in French, but you receive a written guidance in your wanted language as well. Near the end of the tour is a beautiful light show, in a large hall of the cave. The dripstones are highlighted in different ways, which makes them lively. The climate in the cave is a chilly 10' C, the tour takes an hour, so bring a vest!
